It is impossible to answer this question based on the information provided.  If the theft is charged as a second degree misdemeanor, you could be facing up to 60 days in jail, or up to six months of probation (with numerous possible conditions of probation) -- plus a fine/court cost.  If the theft is charged as a first degree misdemeanor the jail time and probation could be up to a year each (or a combination of jail and probation).  If the theft is charged as a felony, the prison time and probation could be up to five years -- or more, depending on the value of the jacket -- although it is unlikely that the value of a jacket would exceed that for which the maximum sentence would be up to five years.)
