Identity Theft Cases Predicted to Increase Say Retailers

The epidemic of identity theft related cases is seeing a peak this year, due larely to the bad economy and our ever increasing reliance on electronic information systems.  The problem is not expected to diminish anytime soon report law enforcement agencies that investigate these crimes.  2011 will be the apex of the crisis so far reports one Torrance Identity Theft Attorney who defends those accused of these types of charges.  Major retail stores find it increasingly hard to defend against thieves intent on taking advantage of our credit card based society.  Measures to deal with the advent of new techniques to steal personal data have so far largely just put a dent into the problem.
