Sometimes, people commit crimes without realizing they are breaking the law. Others, who have nothing to gain, commit a crime knowingly and feel they are above the law or won’t get caught.

Nowhere has this been on display more blatantly than at two Planned Parenthood clinics in Phoenix, AZ. They were recently caught on tape concealing statutory rape. In a developing multi-state child abuse scandal, these are the fourth and fifth Planned Parenthood clinics implicated. What are they doing exactly? Employees of the clinic are ignoring their legal obligations to report statutory rape, and offering secret abortions instead. What’s so strange about this story is that the employees of the Planned Parenthood clinics had nothing to gain personally.

How were they caught? Two college students posing as 15-year-old girl walked into the clinics undercover and told them they “needed an abortion because her adult "boyfriend" had impregnated her, giving his age as 27-years-old at the second clinic.

The videos are part of the "Mona Lisa Project," a national undercover probe of Planned Parenthood clinics conducted by Live Action, a student-led non-profit. The project captures evidence on video.

"By keeping information about rapists confidential, Planned Parenthood enables sexual predators to continue violating young girls. If Arizona state authorities investigate Planned Parenthood's statutory rape reporting practices, they can help bring an end to these crimes," says Live Action's President Lila Rose.
