Are you eligible for shock probation if sentenced for a state felony in Texas?

Assuming this is a first felony
conviction...
State jail felonies - first offenders - are eligible for shock probation. There are several judges in Houston who would definitely consider shock, although some think that if shock was not discussed during plea bargaining, then shock should not be granted.
It is possible, however
you will need to hire an attorney to file a motion with the Court. I can not give you a more
specific answer bases on the few facts you provided.
You should consult with a local law firm to ensure that your rights and interests are being fully
protected.
Shock probation may or may not be available - these types of agreements are based on the specific facts.
