If you receive a civil citation, a speeding ticket for example, contact an attorney in the county where the alleged infraction occurred. The name of the County is always indicated on the very first line at the top left side of the citation. Usually an attorney who practices in the same county will be familiar with the local administrative rules and process that govern the handling of these citations. In most instances, an attorney will be able to resolve a civil citation during the arraignment which is the very first court appearance, and without the necessity of your being present in court for the arraignment. This citation can be handled without your ever having to take the time to appear in court. DO NOT pay the fine because if you do you will be convicted of the infraction, you will have points assessed against your driver's license, your insurance premiums will most likely increase, and you could even lose your driving privilege for excessive points. If you get a ticket for any civil or criminal traffic violation , don't wait--Call today!!!! (904) 360-6100.
