You can check with your local bar association to see if there are any pro bono services in your area.  I believe you will find that most criminal defense attorneys will require some sort of fee for their services, especially an attorney that is board certified by the Florida Bar as an expert in criminal trial law (as I am) will require a fee.

Most attorneys will work with you on a payment plan.  The fee will depend upon the charges, how much work is involved and the attorney's experience.  Since you do not qualify for the public defender you should be able to find an attorney that will work with you on a payment plan.
